We gather to share ideas, solve problems, research ideas and chat about ART. We have most mediums represented and its such a pleasure to see how someone else creates.
Our Library has many inspiring ideas, every year it keeps growing. We also have a complete mat building set-up. It puts the finishing touches on our creations.
We have two instructors scheduled for the month of January- Pat Kodet (painting a desertscape-$25.00) on the 13th January. Then Joyce Kingman (will be painting a Seaside Cottage) on the 27th .
We are setting up for Kathy Dunhams’ two drawing classes, beginner’s and intermediate. The classes are Tuesdays’ weekly from 8:45 a.m. to 11:45 Clubhouse 1 Ballroom for intermediate and 12:30 pm to 3:30 p.m. CH1 Ballroom for beginner’s. These classes run for 5 weeks and cost is $75.00 each. She comes here so there is no traveling time.
February 3rd, we have Diane Morgan joining us for a workshop, she will step us through a painting –‘Bowl of Fruit.’ Make sure you sign –up and pay early, cost is $40.00.
Kathy is also an accomplished photographer and is willing to share her knowledge with a Creative Photography Class - 3 sessions for $30.00 - they start on Friday January 8th and go thru the 15th and 22nd, each session is 1 ½ hours. A great bargain - this is the basic starting point for every person with a camera and makes a picture one that is unforgettable.
February 24, we will doing a Plein Aire Workshop at Jackalope Ranch. We set up to start painting at 9 am and then at noon we will have lunch, then can finish our paintings and leave at 2 pm. The grounds there is absolutely beautiful, there will be no shortage of painting subjects. We must let them know in advance how many we will be so, if your wanting to join us, please contact me -775-1484. The cost for the day, including lunch, beverage will be $28.00. We will carpool from RCB.

Pat Johns was showing her work at Spa City Paletteers Annual Art Show - she collected two first Place Ribbons for "Aylah's Iris" and Desert Showcase" and received Best of Show for "Desert Showcase" and "Aylah's Iris' also got People's Choice Award.
